Senior Financial Controller

For our office in the centre of Volendam, Holmes Place Group is looking immediately for a

SENIOR CONTROLLER 32/40 hrs p/wk

Holmes Place is an international company which is the owner of premium fitness clubs all over Europe. The holding-companies are located in the centre of Volendam.

We are looking for an enthusiastic ALL-ROUND colleague who will have the following duties:


To ensure that the accounting, internal controls and tax policies are consistent with a company;
To review the monthly financial reports of the territories;
To consolidate the monthly financial reports and to prepare the groups' monthly financial report;
To provide management reports of all B.V. companies including cash flow analysis as required by the Group CFO;
Tax returns and V.A.T. reports of B.V. companies are filed accurately on time as required by law;
Preparation for filing the Corporate Income Tax;
Maintain, update, manage and control Group IC Loan Structure & external parties;
Maintain, update and filing all agreements such as IC management- and royalty fees etc;
AD-hoc analysis;
Assist Group CFO & European CFO's with other projects;
To prepare and complete the audited Financial Statements for all holding companies of the Holmes Place Group in a timely manner;
Accounting of the Dutch holdings and the daily job at the office.


How you know you fit in:


Passion for fitness, life and enjoying to keep fit;
Strong knowledge of both Dutch and English language (written and spoken);
Familiar with Microsoft Office Products;
Experience in consolidation;
Experience in dealing with auditors & audits in a large group with Dutch holdings;
Experience in working with Hyperion-Oracle (consolidation) & AFAS-Profit (accounting) preferable;
Good organizational and time management skills;
Honesty and reliability and willing to deliver a good job;
Experience in working at a Trust office or administrative office prefers;
Willing to work in a little office with a small Team (2 employees);
Minimum level of education MBA or comparable;

Minimum 10-15 years work experience.
