HyET Hydrogen is expanding its focus to the United States through its California-based subsidiary, HyET Hydrogen LLC.Job DescriptionA Project Manager is responsible for the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects within a fast-moving, evolving market. At HyET Hydrogen you work on diverse and interesting projects with an international and sustainable impact. Working alongside a team of engineers, the Project Manager is involved at every stage of the project, from project concept, planning, production, testing and costing, to guaranteeing the successful integration of the technology at the client, on time, on budget, and within scope.The Project Manager works closely with the various technical departments within HyET Hydrogen (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, R&D and Testing) to deliver client-specific requirements. HyET Hydrogen delivers Hydrogen Compression and Purification solutions to high-profile clients, focused on a fast-growing renewable energy industry.What are you going to doDetermine and define project scope and objectives.Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.Prepare a budget, based on scope of work and resource requirements.Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.Provide project updates consistently to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.Conducting feasibility and scenario studies.Cooperation with R&D team and Engineering Department and contribution on test reports and technical files (including manuals, specification documents and declarations).Managing technical interfaces, a network of technical specialist and communicate and establish level of trust and confidence with multiple stakeholders.Steer and optimize the business case together with the engineering and commercial team. Ensure robust CAPEX and OPEX estimates. Determine key risks, their impact on the project/business case and their mitigation. Conduct a transparent risk management approach.Keep track of lessons-learnt/best practices and integrate them proactively within your project team.Job RequirementsMost importantly, be passionate about energy transition towards greener solutions. More specifically, you believe that hydrogen can accelerate such a transition. Furthermore, we are looking for a candidate with 2 to 10 years of experience in Project Management with an “all hands-on deck” mindset that will drive the team to achieve all projects deliverables.You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. preferable in mechanical, chemical, or materials engineering.5-10 years solid project management and development experience in the energy sector preferable oil & gas.Proven track record of managing and developing complex projects with external clients.Experience of managing and developing internal R&D projects.Work experience in interdisciplinary and international teams leading to excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Creative, solution-orientated, and open-minded approach.Good stakeholder management skills. Able to bridge gaps and build relations.Business fluency in spoken and written English mandatory. Dutch is a benefit.You have a proven record of accomplishments, preferably related to technology development projects.Experienced in management of Contracts (sales and procurement) and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA).Conceptual design thinking and an affinity for innovation.Willingness to travel, depending on project needs.Profound knowledge of Microsoft Office.Salary and BenefitsA competitive salary;A year contract with permanent intentions;25 holidays;Pension scheme, travel expenses and 8% holiday allowance.
