Project Engineer Factory Expansion

HyET Solar Netherlands is a leading SME in the field of flexible thin film photovoltaic (PV) modules and is founded in 2012. HyET Solar Netherlands has introduced the first commercially viable thin film solar foil (Powerfoil) and has customers all around the world. Simultaneously it is preparing its international expansion, in close cooperation with its business partners (a 1 GW factory is in design phase).The HyET Solar team is full of innovative, driven colleagues taking pride in our factory and product. The project engineers are the core in our Factory Expansion team. Together with the project leader and project management support, the project engineers will manage our equipment suppliers and contractors in realisation of the new factory. As part of this team, you will work with other colleagues with a background in production, maintenance and technology.Job DescriptionAs Project Engineer in the Factory Expansion team, you are responsible for the engineering and delivery of the equipment and the factory requirements. You will make sure that new equipment achieves the required quality, efficiency and reliability in the production process. You will work closely with suppliers and contractors during the realisation process. Starting with specifying the necessary equipment, followed by reviewing quotations and ending with commissioning and integration in the production line. What are you going to do?Providing technical direction for suppliers and contractors;Writing equipment specifications for the production processes;Ensuring quality in design and fabrication work;Review and improvement of designs by suppliers;Providing input for and checking of interfaces and integration of equipment;Installation, commissioning and release for production of equipment.Job RequirementsOur new Project Engineer is a team player with strong communication skills. You are proactive and innovative. You are responsible for several projects at the same time, so you must be able to keep a good overview.Bsc or Msc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Technology or similar;Minimal 5 years relevant working experience;Experience with production processes and equipment manufacturing;Experience in working with CAD software, preferably Solid Works;Experience with PV industry and winding / roll-to-roll technology is an advantage;Salary and BenefitsYou should join our team because we are a fast growing, international organization with lots of opportunities for personal development!
