Our clients's operations team is seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join them. Reporting to the Supervisor Hard Service, you will be responsible for carrying out handyman activities and tasks in and around the buildings of their campus. You will ensure that all maintenance calls are attended to promptly and correctly, and give input to create long-term maintenance plans for the buildings, furniture, and fixtures. In addition, you will conduct building rounds, notice faults and imperfections, and report them to the service desk for follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out handyman tasks such as fixing door handles/mechanisms, replacing lights, and assembling furniture;
Maintain the cleanliness of outdoor spaces such as parking lots, bike sheds, and sidewalks;
Troubleshoot technical issues like power outages and leakages;
Organize workshop and tool rooms to comply with legal and RI&E requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a corporate facilities office environment as a handyman;
Driver's license (B) is a must;
Technical background and education on LBO/MBO level or equivalent experience in managing corporate facilities office environments;
Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and/or HVAC systems;
Ability to work with FMIS (Service-Now or similar), MS Office;
Hold VCA-basis/VOL or is willing to obtain;
Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment;
Strong client and service orientation;
Detail-oriented with an aptitude for problem-solving;
Strong organizational and communication skills in English and/or Dutch;
Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
