MultinationalCAO ZoetwarenJob DescriptionOn behalf of one of our clients, an international company in Veghel, we are looking for an experienced Commercial Operations Specialist.In this position you are responsible for coordinating 7 external manufacturers and ensure that the agreements made are fulfilled, that the quality requirements are met and (potential) problems are solved. In addition, you and the various stakeholders look at where cost savings can be achieved, whether new technologies can be used or things can be arranged differently in the process. This is a position for 40 hours per week. At the moment everybody is working from home. The team is spread over various locations in Europe and there is a lot of contact with each other. You ask each other for advice and once a week there is a team meeting.Key responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day (commercial) operations for External Manufacturing in Europe and resolve (potential) issues, impacting CO-processor PSL and ultimately case fill service level
Manage Supplier Performance Management and Operational Excellence at suppliers, driving continuous improvement in terms of quality, service and efficiency
Responsible for successful implementation of new activities
Initiate and lead Value Leadership Projects, including reduction in NQC and additional fees on top of agreed prices. Support regional tenders in cooperation with Strategic Sourcing
Collect and analyse data for risk assessment, tendering, benchmarking, Value Leadership-purposes
Internal Stakeholder Management (AM, IE, R&D, Supply Chain, Commercial, S&F)
Interact with shared service centre to efficiently run the end-to-end procurement process and optimise ways of working
Owner of Procure to pay process
Job RequirementsCandidate's profile:
University degree preferred
A minimum of 3 years experience in Supply Chain or a business economic function;
English language skills required
Knowledge of, and experience in, core P2P functional competencies and in Procurement best practice
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Problem solving skills
Excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to organise workload
Ability to analyse data and assess information quickly
Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of customers
